Our service design approach helps us empathise with customers and users at every step in their decision journey and to create a map for meeting your organisation’s underlying experiential, technological, and operational requirements.

User Research and Testing

Digital Brand Design

We take time to understand your brand personality and purpose to then bring designs to life. The goal is producing a digital brand that is able to capture your audience’s attention and leave an impression, telling your story through concept, colour and copy.

Design Sprints

A Design Sprint at Roam is a 5-day process for rapidly solving big challenges, creating new products, or improving existing ones. It compresses potentially months of work into a few days. The outcome of our sprint is a high-fidelity interactive prototype that allows us to quickly test assumptions with end users.

Lucas Coelho

Chief Experience Officer

Lucas Coelho has dedicated his career to design and entrepreneurship. He started out as a growth marketer and digital designer before becoming a founding member of 99jobs.com, where he was responsible for product development and design. He went on to co-found UnCollege’s Brazilian operations, before serving as a Partner and Strategic Designer at Flama Studio, a boutique brand and strategic design studio that worked with global startups and government agencies, and established a partnership with McKinsey Digital. Coelho is an active and visible member of the Auckland design community. He’s a member of the Design Leadership Forum at InVision, a Convenor at the Best Design Awards led by the Designers Institute of New Zealand, and a former Local Leader of the Interaction Design Foundation and the organisation’s current Country Manager for New Zealand. He joined Roam Digital in 2017 as a Lead Product Designer before becoming Group Head of Design. He currently serves as our VP of Design, overseeing our growing design team and working with clients to enhance their design knowledge and co-create a comprehensive design ethos for their products and businesses.
