Our Experience
Roam Digital truly understands how to design and build platforms to support the scale and velocity of a cloud native environment.
For many years and across nearly every industry, we’ve built user-focused application experiences. This includes financial services, where we recently partnered with x15ventures to create the digital platform Backr. The platform aims to support aspiring business owners and aid in the recovery of the Australian small business economy after COVID-19. Security and delivery velocity were the main priorities guiding the development process. As a result, we chose to use Azure's native platform-as-a-service offerings, which allowed us to have horizontal autoscaled infrastructure implementations in place quickly. Further supported by our highly automated pipeline in Azure DevOps utilising a green/blue deployment approach, we are able to push many releases per day to production. That speed comes without any compromises on security; the platform is ISO 27001 compliant, as is Roam Digital.
Another example within the financial services industry is Vonto, a digital platform that gathers all the right business tools in one place. The platform uses a business intelligence engine to generate key insights, based on data from various integrations, to give business owners a holistic view of their numbers. Vonto utilises containers to take advantage of Azure’s elasticity. In 2020, Vonto was named the Best Innovation in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services category by the Australian Financial Review.
