Roam Digital is a full-service digital consultancy established in 2013. We design and develop award-winning digital products and offerings for enterprise clients across New Zealand, USA, Australia and Europe.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Workplace Engagement/Office Manager who will play a pivotal role in welcoming our people back to the office, as we all resume a new normal, post-Covid life. You will bring vibrancy and energy to the role, and particularly enjoy arranging and managing events for our clients, employees and local networks. Our Auckland studio is home to around 75 craft experts who are passionate about their culture so you will play a crucial part in contributing to and maintaining that culture.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing prompt office management solutions, exceptional client experiences and trusted administrative support to our executive leadership team.

The position requires a confident office superstar who takes every challenge in their stride and enjoys building relationships with our partners and our diverse, passionate team of Roamers!

This is a full-time, office-based position with a focus on driving engagement while championing an energetic and positive buzz around the studio. As a team of creatives, we encourage you to showcase your innovative and creative flair.

Your new job

  • Be the face of our Auckland Studio
  • Office and premise management
  • Overseeing our workplace environment, working with our vendors and partners to maintain a high-performance setting for our people
  • Work closely with our senior leadership team, attending leadership meetings and be responsible for managing actions from those meetings
  • You will manage small operational projects so if exposure and gaining experience is your goal, we will help you to grow.
  • Be our procurement specialist in New Zealand, representing us within the Group Property team, and managing property projects across all 4 APAC offices
  • Supporting the executive leadership team with administrative tasks
  • Welcoming clients and visitors onsite
  • Management of social activities and events for the Auckland Studio
  • Travel management
  • Coordination of our health and safety workplace requirements
  • This is a fantastic role to get exposure to all areas of the business, as the role sits right in the middle of it! So, if you’re a bit of a generalist, don’t be shy! Embrace it!

What you know

  • Have 2+ years’ experience working in a busy office as an Office Manager or similar role
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
  • Be organised and proactive, with attention to detail that is second-to- none
  • Initiative, common sense and creativity will be key to success in this role
  • You are willing to learn, roll up your sleeves and make a difference
  • You are a people person with excellent communication skills
